Age Requirement
At Heather Hill Farms, we are committed to stringent compliance with legal requirements surrounding the sale of alcohol. You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase wine or spirits from us. By placing an order through our website, you are asserting that you are at least 21 years old and that the recipient of the shipment is also at least 21. We may request proof of identity before processing an order.
The ownership of the wine transfers to you as soon as it leaves our premises.
Therefore, we encourage you to familiarize yourself with your state’s relevant laws. Delivery requires an adult signature with proof of age verification. Please ensure someone over 21 will be available to receive the package. We cannot leave packages unattended, nor can we deliver to PO Boxes or APO addresses.
Carrier and Delivery Times
Our primary shipping method is FedEx Ground Service, which typically takes between 1-6 business days. This timeframe may fluctuate depending on carrier loads during different seasons.
Orders are usually processed and ready for shipment within 1-3 business days of receipt. If any unexpected delays occur, we will inform you promptly.
We ship products from Monday through Thursday once your order has been processed. To avoid potential damage due to temperature sensitivity, we refrain from shipping on Fridays to prevent items like wine, cheese, and meat from languishing in a carrier warehouse over the weekend.

Restricted States
Due to certain state laws regarding alcohol shipment, we are unable to ship to some states.
Currently, we can only ship wine to the following states: Alaska, California, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Florida (only wet counties), Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
Shipping and Handling Costs
Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you place your order. To determine shipping costs to a specific area, please add your items to the shopping cart and enter your zip code. Please note that wine prices do not include shipping, handling charges, or shipping containers. These costs can vary depending on the destination, the number of bottles ordered, and the delivery options chosen.

Once purchased, the buyer assumes ownership of the wines. We offer transportation of the wine as a service to the purchaser and act on their behalf. We make no representation of anyone’s legal rights to ship or import wines into any state. The buyer is solely responsible for the shipment of wine and other goods purchased, as well as for understanding the legality and tax/duty implications of having the wine shipped to them.
